Eline Hoogkamer has painted work since 1983. Her work had been initially figurative with strong enlargement as a result of which a recognizable abstraction arose. She has been designated for that on large paintings, which demonstrate the colorharmony as a characteristic for her work. She uses thereby mainly oil painting. The subjects on her paintings come alive; whether it is about animal- or human-figures or automobiles.

Her craze for African animals strongly reaches expression. Her work radiates warmth and vitality.
